long-horned cowfish [35K]

This particular long-horned cowfish has a unique identifying characteristic, in the form of a split in one of its four "horns". The gill slit is clearly visible, just forward of the left pectoral fin. The large surface area of the caudal fin is plainly evident, with the extended dorsal and anal fins also visible.
