| Sea fans are known to grow very large in areas with strong currents and plenty of planktonic food supply. My friend and frequent dive companion Erick is shown here with one of the larger sea fans we encountered on a "wall dive" at Tubba-Taha reef, in the Sulu Sea. The depth is about 80 feet. |
